Selco: Common Sense Survival. The Return of Natural Selection

Great number of people got killed because they "waited to see what is gonna happen", other folks started to use common sense early and survived (at least more of them, because no matter what we do there is always factor X that you are simply at wrong place at wrong time).

Those who can switch fast and let ideas of normal life go, increase their chances for survival a lot! Many “fantasy” survivalists will wake up to big surprise that things are not like they thought. It is true you should understand and know what to expect but even more important is to quickly change your way of life, how you think about security. Flexible thinker survive because they have many options to do things and react if they have to.

Torrance Officer Cleared in Dorner Mistaken ID Shooting

Shoot first.

Ask questions later.

Literally.

This is why people are afraid of the cops, even if they are doing nothing wrong.
A Torrance police officer who opened fire on a pickup truck during the manhunt for former Los Angeles police Officer Christopher Dorner was justified in his actions and will not face any criminal charges, the District Attorney's Office announced today.

Prosecutors concluded that Officer Brian McGee "did not commit any criminal misconduct" on Feb. 7 of last year when he rammed David Perdue's truck with a patrol car, then fired three shots through the driver's side window.

According to a charge evaluation worksheet prepared by Deputy District Attorney Geoffrey Rendon, McGee acted reasonably in light of the ongoing search for Dorner, who had killed two people at that point and went on to kill two others -- a Riverside police officer and San Bernardino County sheriff's deputy.
The message this sends is that it's acceptable and condoned for cops to become Judge, Jury, & Executioner with no legal ramifications if they can justify it, no matter how weak the argument is. Welcome to Amerika, comrades.

Shiny Magic Badges Ward Off A Guilty Verdict For Murder, Again

 The L.A. Times reports:
An Orange County jury Monday found two former Fullerton police officers accused of killing a schizophrenic homeless man, Kelly Thomas, not guilty.

Manuel Ramos and Jay Cicinelli were charged with striking Kelly Thomas with a baton and a stun gun in a beating that left him comatose. He died five days later.
Kelly Thomas comatose in the hospital after being protected and served
How a jury let these cops walk free is beyond me. Did they not see the video surveillance footage of the incident?

For those unfamiliar with this case, please watch the video below.

But it's all justified, right? After all, Officer Ramos got a booboo. Never mind Thomas Kelly was beaten into a coma. He deserved it, right?

And some people wonder why cops are not trusted. "Peace Officers" my ass. These are paid judge, jury and executioners who get a free pass.

"Oh but it's only a few bad apples," cry the police boot lickers.

Yeah, well why does this happen all across the nation multiple times a day? Why do these 'bad apples' still have a job? Why do they still have the freedom to walk around in society?

Ramos' attorney, John Barnett, told reporters: "These peace officers were doing their jobs...they did what they were trained to do."

Well, they did get that right...this is what they are being trained to do.

The pot is starting to boil over and one day, those Shiny Magic Badges aren't going to work anymore.

Authori-tah… and Vigilance Committees

A cop recently told me, “there’s no such thing as a ‘bad’ shoot, only a bad report.”

They can do anything they want to you; if you got a problem with it (assuming you’re still alive) you can talk their buddy, the judge.

THIS IS WHAT PASSES FOR “PEACE OFFICERS” THESE DAYS.

These fuckers aren’t about ‘keeping the peace,’ they’re about enforcing arbitrary laws that don’t mean diddley-shit.  They’re LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, not “peace officers.”  And you’d better respect their fuckin’ AUTHORI-TAH, or you’re liable to end up dead.  It’s about power, and money.  Fear is helpful, too- which is why they make a big show out of SWAT-ting innocent people all the time, and airing it on the news.

A proposal who's time has come, albeit a little late, but better late than never.

Read about the idea of Vigilance Committees here and understand why tar and feathering were effective back in the day.

Mosby: Welcome To The Horde!

There is a lot of flippant talk thrown about in this community about “tribes,” with what appears to me to be entirely too little understanding of exactly what the term actually implies.
More on Mosby's discussion here.

Magpul Move Finalized - Colo. Dems Blamed for $80M Hit To Economy

It's now official.
Magpul Industries threatened to leave Colorado after the legislature passed a measure banning weapons magazines with more than 15 rounds.

And now that is official.

The Erie-based ammunition magazine manufacturer said Thursday it is relocating its operations to Cheyenne and Texas.

Most of the 200-plus employees will not be moving to Wyoming, where manufacturing and distribution will take place, said spokesman Duane Liptak.

More here.
I wonder how Gov. (c)Hickenlooper will spin this?
Democrats came under heavy criticism Friday for driving Magpul Industries out of Colorado by pushing an aggressive gun-control agenda, a move that could cost the state more than $80 million annually.

So far no Democratic lawmakers, including Mr. Hickenlooper, have commented publicly on Magpul’s decision to leave Colorado, although several Democrats have said that job growth is their top priority for 2014.

So the knuckleheads in Colorado have gone ahead and made tools to defend oneself severely handicapped, whilst making a mind altering drug legal available for purchase on every street corner to anyone over 21.

Can you say FUBAR?
