Video: Police Shoot Dogs Dead Outside School

Just killing more dogs. Probably the only chance they've had to shoot their gun.

Police have been caught on film repeatedly shooting two dogs just yards from a school as they tried to break up a fight between the animals.

An officer in Chester, Pennsylvania, fired five shots in succession. Another officer then followed and fired a single bullet.

It is believed the fight broke out after a stray dog found its way into a pick up truck and began to fight with a dog inside.

Liberty's Torch: The Rising

... It really hit me when I realized that the World War-era M1 Garands , M1 carbines, and Enfield .303s were gone, along with every last shell. Ubiquitous Mosin-Nagants—of which every gun store always seems to have 10-20—were gone. So was their ammo. Only a dust free space marked their passing. I’ve never seen anything like it.

Every weapon of military utility designed within the past 100+ years was gone. This isn’t a society stocking up on certain guns because they fear they may be banned. This is a society preparing for war.

Indeed it is.

I guess we're out of time.

NYPD's New Radioactive Gun Detection Beam

Hey, TSA uses something similar, why not NYPD?

4th Amendment, what's that?

Zip Guns: 9mm, .22LR, 12 Gauge

There may come a time where you'll need to make your own small, cheap, concealable firearm.

And that's all I'll say on the subject.

Here's something pretty neat. A full-auto (Assault Weapon for you hoplophobes) .22 LR machine pistol. Test fire at the end of the video.

12 Gauge single shot:

There are more videos on the interwebs if you're so inclined.

For more ideas, pick up a copy of TM 31-210. I picked up one at my local Army Navy Surplus store for $5.

Full Text of Dianne Feinstein’s Assault Weapons Ban

This is what we're up against. This is the first line of the bill, its purpose. Emphasis mine.

To regulate assault weapons, to ensure that the right to
keep and bear arms is not unlimited
, and for other purposes.

The full text of the bill can be found here, all 122 pages of it.

Well Mr. and Mrs. Politician,

You can't have them.

We won't give them up.

We won't register them.

We won't compromise.

If you dare.

Gun Owners Refuse to Register Under New York Law

Well it looks live Gov. Cuomo might have misjudged his power to bend the will of the people to his wishes.
After Democrats in New York rammed a sweeping assault on the right to keep and bear arms through the legislature that failed to exempt police officers from the draconian restrictions, gun owners and even some lawmakers are planning what has been dubbed potentially the largest act of civil disobedience in state history. According to news reports, gun rights activists are urging everyone to defy far-left Governor Andrew Cuomo’s new registration mandate while daring authorities to “come and take it.”

Analysts say the legislation, passed in a frenzy last week in the wake of the Newtown shooting, represents the most brazen infringement on the right to keep and bear arms anywhere in the nation. Among other points, the so-called SAFE Act seeks to limit magazines to just seven bullets, require virtually all of the estimated one million semi-automatic rifles in the state to be registered with authorities, mandate reporting of patients who express indications that they may have thoughts about hurting themselves or others by doctors, and more.

Aside from being unconstitutional, experts on gun violence also point out that the draconian schemes are a bad idea: Studies have repeatedly shown that more guns lead to less crime, and the phenomenon is obvious across America — just compare Chicago or D.C. to Alaska or Wyoming. The mandated reporting requirements for doctors, meanwhile, have come under fire from across the political spectrum. Whether it will even be possible to enforce the bill, however, remains to be seen.

Preparations are already being made for mass resistance. “I’ve heard from hundreds of people that they’re prepared to defy the law, and that number will be magnified by the thousands, by the tens of thousands, when the registration deadline comes,’’ said President Brian Olesen with American Shooters Supply, among the biggest gun dealers in the state, in an interview with the New York Post.

Even government officials admit that forcing New Yorkers to register their guns will be a tough sell, and they are apparently aware that massive non-compliance will be the order of the day. “Many of these assault-rifle owners aren’t going to register; we realize that,’’ a source in the Cuomo administration told the Post, adding that officials expect “widespread violations” of the new statute.

Threats of imprisoning gun owners for up to a year and confiscating their weapons are already being issued by governor’s office, headed by a rabid anti-Second Amendment extremist who suggested before the bill passed that “confiscation” of all semi-automatic rifles was being considered. If tens or even hundreds of thousands of otherwise law-abiding citizens refuse to comply, however, analysts say New York would either have to start raising taxes and building a lot more prisons, or give up on the scheme that experts say will do nothing to reduce violence and that lawmakers say is aimed at eventual confiscation

Activists involved in the state-wide boycott against the unconstitutional statute who spoke to the Post almost taunted authorities, saying gun owners would essentially dare authorities to “come and take it away.” According to the paper, leaders of some of the state’s hundreds of gun clubs, dealers, and non-profit organizations, citing the New York Constitution’s guarantee that gun rights “cannot be infringed,” are currently involved in organizing the resistance. Among the primary concerns is that, with registration, authorities would know where to go for confiscation, an idea already proposed openly by Governor Cuomo himself.

“They’re saying, ‘F--- the governor! F--- Cuomo! We’re not going to register our guns,’ and I think they’re serious. People are not going to do it. People are going to resist,” explained State Rifle and Pistol Association President Tom King, who also serves on the National Rifle Association board of directors. “They’re taking one of our guaranteed civil rights, and they’re taking it away.”

New Yorkers, register nothing!

Feinsteins Dog and Pony Show of Gun Display Breaks DC Law

Sen. Feinstein got special permission and did not have to abide by the D.C. gun laws when she displayed guns as props during her Assault Weapons Ban press conference today.

Well, isn't she special?

Legislation is scheduled to be introduced this afternoon.

I guess we'll all be criminals soon.

Someone Had Cajones At The Inaguration

HE WAS ASKED TO LEAVE and ESCORTED OUT.

"Don't Tread on Me! Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death!"

A reader got this picture to us with the REST OF THE STORY in regards to our photo posting from last night: "BE THAT GUY".

This man held an American flag in distress as well as a white Gadsden flag (Culpeper Militia) in the viewing stands on the Inaugural parade route. Seen on the night of inauguration on CNN's website the photo was captured to show here.

***

FROM THE READER:
"I first noticed the distress flag maybe a half hour before he was asked to leave- I am going to estimate about 0930, my picture files have time I transferred them, not the time I took them.

I tried to get closer to him, but the crowd was too thick. We were in the second tranche of the non-ticketed area, you can see the National Museum of the American Indian behind him as he is being escorted way, for reference.

He was pretty much dead center as you look across the mall (I was on the north edge of the crowd). Not long after I took the first picture of the flags in the distance he was able to move forward a good bit, maybe 50 yards or so.

The crowd was very dense, so I am not sure how he managed that. He stayed in the new location until the police escorted him out. He marched, and I mean marched, out of the crowd with the flags held high.

As soon as they got him into the strip between the tranches he lowered the flags, I am assuming here that they made him do that and there was simply no room in the crowd to do so sooner. That's when I moved to the barrier and took the photos.

He was speaking to the police, conversationally, and they were answering the same way. I did not see them touch him at all. The only bit of conversation I heard was one of the police directing him to leave.

HR 226 - IRS Tax Credit for 'Assault' Weapons Turned In

Well, it's been officially introduced.

Not surprisingly, all four co-sponsors are Democrats.

H.R. 226 - To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow a credit against tax for surrendering to authorities certain assault weapons.

They want them all.

Even the dreaded and widely feared 'barrel shroud' is on that list.

In addition to ensuring the death of their political career, they want a war.

Challenge accepted.

TL: Dear Cop

Another excellent post by TL Davis.
The battlespace is starting to firm up. Yes, I hear the law enforcement personnel who say that they might be 10% of their comrades who will stand. I hear Oathkeepers staying true to their sentiments about the Assault Weapons Ban. Maybe 10% of the Oathkeepers will keep their oath. There are two things that need to happen: 1) Good Cops Need To Declare Themselves Now, as a recent post suggested; 2) we need to start forming connections to each other, the gun community and those willing to stand for their oaths and defend them.

I know law enforcement is used to standing alone, relying on brothers in arms for their defense and the defense of the laws. Forget it, that day is over. Today, right now, there are only two different individuals in the nation: those who will support the Constitution and those who will try to destroy it. Pick a side already and start forming up with those in the militia, those in the gun community who will be reliable to you when you have to face the other 90% of your precinct.

Here is the other side to that, so be ready: we intend to restore the entire Constitution, which is to say that all of those little caveats that let cops violate the other amendments to the United States Constitution have to go along with all laws associated with restricting gun use. I know that sounds radical, but hear me out.

If You're Going To Pull A Gun, Make Sure It Works

Imagine if you had to pull your weapon in self-defense and this happened?

I'm not condoning what the man attempted to do, nor am I condemning it. Rather this is to show you why you should always be familiar with your weapon and ensure that it functions properly before trusting your life to it.

If this man (the failed assassin) was legitimately trying to defend himself against a group of thugs when his weapon failed to fire, he wouldn't have gotten off so easily.

Go here for the full story.

School Teacher Arrested at JFK Airport

A public school teacher was arrested today at John F. Kennedy International airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a compass, a slide-rule and a calculator.

At a morning press conference, Attorney General Eric Holder said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-Gebra movement. He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.

'Al-Gebra is a problem for us', the Attorney General said. 'They derive solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in search of absolute values.' They use secret code names like "X" and "Y" and refer to themselves as "unknowns" but we have determined that they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country.

As the Greek philosopher Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle."

When asked to comment on the arrest, President Obama said, "If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes."

White House aides told reporters they could not recall a more intelligent or profound statement by the President. It is believed that another Nobel Prize will follow.

Don't Get Comfortable Yet - Feinstein's Coming

Sen. Feinstein showing off her gun-grabbing claws

We were all expecting the worse with Emperor Øbama's press conference yesterday. While his 23 E.O's were still unconstitutional and legislatures are pledging to nullify them, there was nothing in the E.O's about banning high capacity magazine or 'assault' weapons.

The real threat comes next week when Feinstein introduces her treasonous bill.

She posted a press release yesterday on her website applauding the (p)Resident and reminding everyone of her gun grabbing goals.

Washington—Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), author of the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban, made the following statement after President Obama announced a comprehensive plan to protect American children and communities by reducing gun violence:

“I have deep respect and admiration for President Obama and Vice President Biden for the comprehensive and commonsense reforms they outlined this morning. They spoke with conviction and compassion for the victims of gun violence in this country, and I applaud them for tackling this plague of violence with the urgency it deserves.

“The executive actions and proposals announced today will dramatically improve the background check system, protect law enforcement and resume gun violence research in this country.

“Finally, I support the president’s call to reinstate the ban on assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines. He was exactly right when he said ‘weapons designed for the theater of war have no place’ in our society. I couldn’t agree more. These weapons have one purpose: to kill the most people in the shortest amount of time possible.

“Next week, Senate and House cosponsors will introduce legislation to prohibit the sale, transfer, manufacture and importation of assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition feeding devices that carry more than 10 rounds. I hope that Chairman Leahy will hold hearings on this bill in the Judiciary Committee as soon as possible.”
(emphasis mine)
###
Okay, so the pressure needs to be put on Sen. Patrick Leahy NOT to hold hearings on that treasonous bill.

Call him. Then call him again. Let him know in no uncertain terms that we DO NOT CONSENT with this piece of crap bill.

You can contact him here:

Senator Leahy

The 23 E.O.'s

Well, here's the list:

1. Issue a presidential memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system

2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.

3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.

4. Direct the attorney general to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.

5. Propose rule-making to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun.

6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.

7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.

8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).

9. Issue a presidential memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations.

10. Release a Department of Justice report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make it widely available to law enforcement.

11. Nominate a new director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

12. Provide law enforcement, first-responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.

13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.

14. Issue a presidential memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.

15. Direct the attorney general to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun-safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies.

16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors from asking their patients about guns in their homes.

17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.

18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school-resource officers.

19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.

20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.

21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.

22. Commit to finalizing mental-health parity regulations.

23. Launch a national dialogue led by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Education Secretary Arne Duncan on mental health.

Message From the President of The West Virginia Citizens Defense League

I was asked to help spread this, so I am:

-----------------------------------------------------

Ladies and gentlemen of the WVCDL and West Virginia. Today, around 3PM I met with Senator Manchin. In any conversation with a person of that level of power, there are two conversations that occur at once. The first is the obvious and direct meaning of what is spoken. The second conversation is the meaning between the lines. In this case, neither is good. West Virginia, in my opinion, you have been sold out.

First, let's talk about the direct conversation. It's very simple. Senator Manchin supports a three-pronged approach that includes universal background checks, including private sales. He supports mental health-care reform. And he supports magazine capacity limits, and possibly other restrictions.

Further, he stated to me directly, that he believes 75% of West Virginians, like him, believe that the only purposes behind gun ownership and the second amendment are hunting and recreational shooting. He told me that defense is not an angle he considers or believes in, and that is specifically in the context of defense of self, and defense from tyranny. Perhaps now you understand why I've been too angry to update you on the results of the meeting. In case you're thinking of stopping here, it gets worse.

Senator Manchin told me what the media will do if Congress (including the US House of Representatives) fails to pass an AWB and/or mag restrictions. "They will one, by one, put up pictures of dead children. They will show the carnage." Considering that tomorrow, President Obama will be exploiting children by dragging them on stage with him while he outlays his plan, this is not a huge leap. And these are the words of a United States senator. We, and I don't mean just West Virginians, I mean Americans, must prepare for this. That is a direct quote. Verbatim. We need every talking head in the conservative media out in front of this. Make it happen. Share this post far and wide.

When it became clear that we were not going to find common ground, and that Senator Manchin intends to support magazine capacity limits and other pointless gun-control laws doomed to failure, I told the senator that we would be there. We would be at every single event. We would be at every fund-raiser. We would be there, and the content of our signs would not be pleasant.

And now we get to the second conversation. The one between the lines. When I said we would be there, he said, "there won't be any events."

This confused me. No politician runs for office without fund-raisers and events. And I have to admit, it wasn't I that grasped the meaning of this. I want to be clear, that the following was not stated. This was deduced by a confidant of mine, and I think she is correct. Manchin was honest. There will be no events. Why would a US Senator not need funds? This is because there will be no campaign. Joe Manchin is too young to retire from a position of such power. What does that mean?

West Virginia, this means that Joe Manchin has sold you out. It means that he has accepted some position, likely promised by Barack Obama, to place his boot in your neck in exchange for power. --- Keith Morgan, President WVCDL

New York Senate Passes 'Assault Weapons' Crackdown

"We haven't saved any lives tonight, except one: the political life of a governor who wants to be president. We have taken an entire category of firearms that are currently legal that are in the homes of law-abiding, tax paying citizens. ... We are now turning those law-abiding citizens into criminals." - Sen. Greg Ball (R)
(source)
Assembly votes on it tomorrow. Should pass with no problem.

Update: Has passed and Cuomo signed it into law.
The new state legislation will:
  • Limit ammunition clips to seven. It’s now 10. Current owners of higher-capacity magazines would have a year to sell them out of state. An owner caught at home with eight or more bullets in a magazine could face a misdemeanor charge.

  • Force gun owners to renew their licenses every five years

  • Stiffen penalties for using a gun in the commission of a crime

  • Stiffen penalties for bringing a gun on school property

  • New restrictions on the assault weapons already owned by New Yorkers
"They will be basically not permitted to be transferred. They will be grandfathered in but not in terms of a transfer. There will be a registry,” Assembly Speaker Silver said.

Freedom Outpost: The Second War of Independence Has Been Declared

More people see it coming.
There is a sickening aroma in the air that is beginning to permeate the very soul of independent freedom embracing Americans. It began to originate long before the shooting at Aurora, Colorado, or recently in Newtown, Connecticut. Its rancid fragrance seeps into the fabric of the U.S. Constitution and is emitted by the control terrorists who manipulate the facts and perceptions of Americans who watch the news. These purveyors of stricter gun control measures seek to erode your defenses so that in your weakened state you will accept their sweet smelling tyranny.

The nation that was represented as a symbolic shining city on a hill that President Ronald Reagan spoke about over 30 years ago is now becoming a broken mud hole of shattered dreams. America’s morning that has dawned over the nation is now bearing witness to the shredding of constitutional protections which have safe guarded families since the infancy of the republic. Obama has given the order to Vice President Biden: full steam ahead to obliterate gun rights in your town. You and your family are the targets and what will you do?

NC Renegade: A Time To Kill

It's coming.

Excerpt from NC Renegade's post:

I bear witness to the fact that throughout my lifetime, the lifeblood of my republic has been drained away by greedy and self-serving men, from high to low, who contrive nought but deception against their neighbors and countrymen, and who fail to consider that their children and mine shall share the same fate, the same future, and I am saddened by it.

But I am a soldier, and I know what must be done; and so I shall put away my sadness and I shall harness up the bitter steed of war, and gird myself up for the battle; and I shall ride out to meet the enemies of Liberty; not in rage, not for anger sake or the hope of vengeance; but because I swore an oath before God, to jealously guard our Republic and its Constitution against all enemies; Him I shall not disappoint, for He is my Hope and my Trust.
Go and read it ALL.

It looks like many of our fellow Americans who take their oaths seriously are preparing to step off the porch.

Fight smart.

Stay safe.

Resist!
